About

JN Corcoran Inc was founded in 2006 and is operated by a husband and wife team (John & Nikki) and our golden retriever (Pepsi). Since we started our business has steadily grown. We have added more equipment over the years making us accessible to other areas. With the addition of the deck barge we are able to work in areas that are water accessible only. The deck barge is also useful for transporting materials to the site. Location is not an issue for us as both barges are easily moved from lake to lake. We use the most advanced and the highest grade materials available. We apply for all agency permits.

We drive two types of pilings, fiberglass and steel.

The fiberglass pilings we use for our docks and boathouses are made up of a composite fiberglass material. They do not rust or rot and are extremely strong.  We have been using this product for a number of years with great success.

Marine Grade Heavy Duty Lumber

The pressure treated lumber that we use is a marine grade heavy duty lumber. Our frames are constructed using 3” x 10” lumber which is available in custom length one piece boards, for example 30 footers.

Custom Made Piling Bracket

The brackets we use are custom made for each project. Steel brackets, welded and hot dipped galvanized.

All bolts are galvanized and recessed.

Skirting & Picture Frame Option

The decking that we use can be pressure treated wood or a composite material. There are a few options. Skirting is a nice finish to a dock or boathouse foundation and what we call picture frame. There are many advantages to using composite decking, low maintenance, slip and spill proof, splinter proof and also the option of using two tone colors

Two Tone Composite Decking Option.

Over the years we have researched materials and perfected our techniques. Our customers are our top priority, past and present. We work hard and feel that we bring a professional approach to our field.
